If you have an email address and access to a computer with decent wifi you are capable of doing this course. You do need to be comfortable with receiving and sending email and researching the internet using Google. Ideally you are already competent at and comfortable with updating your own personal social media accounts too but even that isn’t a 'deal breaker' if you’re prepared to skill-up.

The Certified Virtual Business Managers™ course is especially designed for people who are not yet experts but who really want to become proficient and, in time, expert. So we start from scratch and as long as you are committed to showing up and learning and prepared to do the work, we will do everything possible to support you to achieve your goal of graduating as a CVBM™.

We have specifically designed The Certified Virtual Business Managers™ course with family life in mind. Indeed, the overarching mission of the course is to empower graduates to work flexibly and autonomously whilst doing meaningful work they love and being financially self-supporting.

The live, virtual lessons do take place at fixed times (usually 10:30am GMT on a Tuesday and Friday) however they are recorded and added to the course website. They can be watched back at any time that works for you. The pre-recorded course materials can be accessed from a laptop, desktop or handheld device absolutely anywhere you have access to decent wifi.

You do not need previous academic qualifications. Our CVBM™s have all sorts of career backgrounds ranging from corporate backgrounds in finance and the Law to teaching, marketing, fundraising and administration; some have been PAs or EAs; some have worked in retail. Many have been out of the ‘official’ work place for a while as they navigate family life with commitments as carers to ageing parents or children. The bottom line is anyone who is determined enough can do this course and thrive in the role of a CVBM™.

Being able to read and write however is a basic requirement as is having an email address and access to a computer with decent wifi. But it's important to understand that becoming a successful CVBM™ is about discovering your business acumen and mixing it with emotional intelligence, practical skills and common sense. You need only commit to the mindset of lifelong learning and doing your best in the present.

We recommend you set aside at least four hours a week to study however like all things in life you get out what you put in, meaning if you can put in more hours, it will be all the better for you.

Please note: The CVBM™ course involves four months of weekly, virtual Live Lessons and pre-recorded content that is stage-released weekly over a four month period. Which means that if you were to work really hard and concurrently stay on top of all the pre-recorded and Live Lesson content it would be possible to complete the course and ‘graduate’ in four months. However, we know our students well. Which means we understand that most are parents or carers and have multiple demands on their time alongside retraining and studying. The very nature of your existing circumstances might mean that however committed you are to your CVBM™ training at the outset, family life may well unexpectedly get in the way or slow you down. This is why, once you have paid in full for the CVBM™ training, you will have lifetime access to the course modules and the recorded Live Lessons pertaining to your specific cohort. What does this mean in real terms? It means that if you want to take nine months or a year or two years or even more to ‘graduate’ you can! Ideally we would see you complete the content in four months and we will do everything possible to support you through the course materials and Live Lessons as seamlessly and swiftly as can be. However, if life does get in the way and you need to take a break, you can rest assured there is no time limit on the completion of your study modules. You can quite literally, take as long as you need.

1. Weekly Live Lessons are hosted by your instructor Lucy Hutchings Hunt. Lucy serves as your mentor throughout the CVBM™ training and is supported to support you by her experienced technical and client relationship team at SYSTEMYZED®.
2. 1:1 mentoring: Included in the course are 3 x 30 minute 1:1 mentoring sessions. These take place at the start, roughly half way through and towards the end of your cohort’s scheduled course dates.
3. Expert guest mentors: A particularly valuable element of the CVBM™ training is the Bonus Live Lessons with expert guest speakers and mentors. Lucy has a wide, international network of experts who she regularly entices to share their business experience, strength and hope with you at intervals throughout the course. If you attend the Bonus Live Lessons you will get the chance to partake in live Q & A sessions with these experts. 
   
4. Speedy Technical Support: When it comes to technical support you will have 24/7 access to our CVBM™ Slack thread. Lucy and her team regularly monitor the thread and come back to you ASAP with solutions (often visual guides) to technical issues you might be having (depending on the time of day, often our responses to questions are given within minutes!) 
   
5. Caring Community Support: The community is at its best in our private, CVBM™ facebook group to which only fully paid up members of the CVBM™ community have access. This is a pro-active support group where qualified CVBM™s as well as those in training consistently champion and support each other with all aspects of the CVBM™ training, role, lifestyle and pretty much anything else you can imagine!

Receiving recognition is a pivotal moment for anyone completing their CVBM™ certification after the minimum four month training period. When you successfully complete the lesson modules AND the coursework - thus graduating a Certified Virtual Business Manager™- our CVBM™ Digital Awards and CVBM™ Badges enable us to award you with proof of skill. You can add your CVBM™ certification to your Linkedin profile as well as add the badge to your website to prove your credibility and help employers and clients identify you as the ideal partner or job candidate for them. Your name and profile will also be added to the official, searchable Register of Certified Virtual Business Managers™.

On successful completion of the course you will be added to the official Register of Certified Virtual Business Managers™ and be able to display your CVBM™ Digital Award on your Linkedin profile and the CVBM™ Badge on your website. This social proof of your qualification will help impress potential business partners and go a long way to helping you secure clients. During the course Lucy will share with you details of her proven blueprint for growing a CVBM™ business from 0-£50K P/A turnover in 24 months, whilst working flexibly and autonomously. There is no guarantee that by undertaking the CVBM™ course you will secure this level of income, however if you follow the course guidelines and implement Lucy’s advice to the tee as well as put into practice the proven CVBM™ business model alongside your skills training AND if you use the recommended softwares, tools, tips and techniques, we know that it is entirely possible and highly likely that you will secure the clients you desire and be able to build a profitable business in a relatively short period of time.

This course requires access to: 

1. Wifi / Internet: You will need a decent internet connection
2. A computer: Not just a handheld device (either a laptop or desktop - preferably with a web camera - is fine!). Please note, you will be able to access the course platform and all the pre-recorded lesson modules and Live Lesson modules via the internet on your phone or tablet (so joining the lessons ‘on the go’ is totally achievable), however in order to undertake the Wordpress website design coursework in full, you will need regular access to a laptop or desktop computer.
3. A printer: Ideally you will also have access to a printer in order to print the relevant course downloads.
4. Zoom: Live Lessons take place using the software Zoom. It is free and easy to download (as long as you have an internet connection).
